They really deserve more attention. The Shattered Legions, imo, did the most damage to traitors in terms of their functionality. Maybe not the most casualties, but they caused the most problems. IH successors are great! Stories with them can be great, a constant internal struggle with accepting their biological side or putting faith in machine. Ferrus’ inner truth at wishing to free his sons from their reliance on other forces beyond their own biologics.

I think it would’ve been nothing for the emperor to conquer the highborn. I resonate with angron because like him I’m also a child of neglect. This was completely avoidable, I don’t understand why an omnipotent being like the emperor couldn’t see this.
